Introducing the Randomizer Wheel: Pick Teams on Stream with One Click
— Breaker Labs
Break order is a game in itself. Who's on the clock? Which team goes next? Who's drawing the random spot? Up until now, our streamers were using third-party wheel pickers, screen-sharing them, alt-tabbing during a hit. We finally have a first-class answer for that.
Randomizer Wheel
It's a new paid widget. You drop it into OBS as a Browser Source like any other Breaker Labs widget, drive it from the Command Center with a single Spin button, and the wheel animates on-stream to a random team. Confirm the result and that team is eliminated. Repeat until the wheel is empty.
Out of the box it ships pre-populated with all 30 MLB teams, 32 NFL, 30 NBA, or 32 NHL — pick your sport in the editor, deselect any teams that aren't in this break, and you're ready. Or switch to Custom Mode and type whatever you want one per line: numbered slots, breaker handles, hit categories, anything.

Command Center → OBS in lockstep
When you hit Spin in the Command Center, the same wheel animates in your OBS browser source at the exact same time, on the exact same team. No more screen-sharing some random.org tab. No more guessing if your viewers see what you see.

Every action stays in sync via WebSocket:
- Spin → wheel animates in OBS, result panel shows in the CC
- Confirm → team is eliminated, takeover animation plays, history updates
- Re-spin → discard the pending pick and try again
- Undo → put the last confirmed team back on the wheel
- Reset → start fresh with all teams back
State persists per-widget. Close the CC, come back next break, the wheel is exactly where you left it.
Team logos on the segments
Turn on Show team logos and the wheel renders each team's crest in place of its name. We composite a soft white halo behind each logo so the Dodgers' blue logo still pops against their blue segment, Cardinals red on red stays readable, and so on. Works for all 4 sports.
The reveal goes full-bleed on the picked team:

Winner Takeovers, every one of them
The randomizer ships with the full set of 10 takeover animations — including the new Lightning, Glitch, and Spotlight effects. When a team gets confirmed, your custom takeover plays on the OBS source:
- Expand (Free), Fade (Free) — clean and quick
- Split Gate (Pro) — doors swing open
- Shatter (Pro) — glass shatters around the logo
- Ice Breaker (Pro) — frozen burst with ice shards
- Card Flip (Pro) — 3D trading-card reveal
- Lightning (Pro) — strobing flashes with brightness flicker
- Glitch (Pro) — chromatic-aberration jitter
- Spotlight (Pro) — dramatic spotlight sweep
- Portal (Pro) — energy rings spin in around the team
Stack them with the same flavor controls you already use: Use Team Colors to paint the takeover in the winning team's brand color, Confetti in effect/team/rainbow modes, your own Overlay Frame PNG wrapping the reveal.
Make it yours
In the Wheel tab you get the controls that actually matter:
- Spin duration — 3s to 8s
- Easing — Subtle (snappy 1.5-rev landing) or Dramatic (suspenseful 4-rev)
- Segment colors — use each team's brand color, or your custom palette
- Pointer color — match your scene
- Custom hub logo (Pro) — drop a 256×256 transparent PNG into the center, replaces the Breaker Labs mark
- Border text (Pro) — your channel name or URL on a ribbon below the wheel
The widget is always rendered at 500×500 with a transparent background, so it sits cleanly on top of any OBS scene.
The free version
We also shipped a free Random Wheel Picker at breakerlabs.app/tools/random-wheel. Same wheel, no login required, runs entirely in your browser. Same sport pre-loads, same custom-entries mode (capped at 20 characters per entry to keep labels readable).
Live state stays in localStorage so you can refresh and pick back up. Not driven by a Command Center, not embeddable in OBS — but if you just need a wheel to pick a team in the moment, it's there.
Try it
If you're on Pro the Randomizer Wheel template is already in the Create Widget flow. Pick it, configure it once, paste the Browser Source URL into OBS, and the Command Center will drive it from there for every break going forward.
If you're on the free trial, the free tool covers the basic pick-a-team case. Pro unlocks the OBS-side widget, custom logos, custom border text, the full takeover library, team logos on segments, and the Command Center sync.
Start your free trial — Pro is $9.99 USD/mo, 7-day trial, cancel anytime.
