New Takeover Animations: Portal, Spotlight, Confetti, and More

We've massively expanded the takeover animation system. When a team gets claimed during your break, the animation that plays is now way more customizable. Here's everything new.

Portal Animation

The new Portal animation opens with glowing energy rings that pulse and spin around the center. Particles spiral inward as the team logo emerges with a brightness flash. It's dramatic, it's sci-fi, and it looks incredible with team colors enabled.

Spotlight Reveal

A dark overlay sweeps across the screen with a circular spotlight that lands on the team logo. Works beautifully with the background scroll feature — the scrolling logo pattern shows through the spotlight beam.

Team-Specific Colors

Enable "Use Team Colors" and every takeover automatically uses the claimed team's primary color. Phillies get red, Mets get blue, Yankees get navy. Every takeover feels unique.

Confetti Overlay

Add confetti particles to any animation. Three color modes:

  • Effect — matches your widget's effect color
  • Team — uses the claimed team's color
  • Rainbow — full multi-color celebration

Custom Overlay Frame

Upload a PNG with transparency and it overlays every takeover animation as a frame. Use your brand border, a gold ornate frame, or a sports card template. The team logo renders inside your custom frame.

  • Split Gate (Pro) — doors slide open to reveal
  • Shatter (Pro) — logo shatters into particles
  • Ice Breaker (Pro) — frozen effect with ice shards
  • Card Flip (Pro) — 3D trading card reveal
  • Spotlight (Pro) — dramatic spotlight sweep
  • Portal (Pro) — energy burst with spinning rings

Plus confetti, team colors, background scroll, and custom overlay frames on top of any animation.
